Trade cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia is strengthening through constructive and substantive dialogue at the customs level. The Federal Customs Service (FCS) of the Russian Federation held a working meeting with representatives of companies importing Turkmen textiles, focusing on improving customs declarations and administration.

The meeting emphasized the importance of Turkmen textiles for the Russian market and the parties' desire to simplify trade operations. Following the dialogue, specific steps aimed at optimizing imports were agreed upon.

Representatives of importing companies will submit specific proposals to the Federal Customs Service of Russia for improving customs clearance practices for textiles from Turkmenistan. These proposals will be thoroughly analyzed and taken into account during further interaction between the Federal Customs Service of Russia and the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

This approach demonstrates a high level of cooperation and a commitment to finding effective solutions to eliminate any potential barriers. Active engagement with importers and their proposals will create the most favorable and transparent conditions for the stable presence of high-quality Turkmen textile products on the Russian market.
