Global Gateway Forum 2025 to Take Place in Brussels
On 9–10 October, Brussels will host the Global Gateway Forum 2025, a flagship event of the European Union dedicated to sustainable investments, energy, transport, digital transformation, and global connectivity.
The forum will bring together high-level representatives from governments, financial institutions, the private sector, and civil society. Participants will discuss innovative strategies to expand investments under the Global Gateway initiative in partner countries.
According to the organizers, the forum will serve as a platform for in-depth dialogue and the development of joint solutions in areas such as smart technologies, clean energy, transport, digitalization, as well as the strengthening of health, education, and research systems.
The Global Gateway initiative is a global strategy of the European Union aimed at creating “smart, clean, and secure” connections in the digital, energy, and transport sectors. In addition, it supports the development of health, education, and scientific research systems worldwide.
Global Gateway is fully aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (Agenda 2030) and the Paris Climate Agreement. The program aims to mobilize up to EUR 300 billion in investments over the coming years.
