In Turkmenistan, 112 and 911 numbers will be tested to call an ambulance instead of the usual 03 number. This task was set by the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting dedicated to the construction of a new regional center of the Akhal region. Discussing the issue of expanding the types and increasing the level of medical services rendered to the population, the head of state pointed out that the services of the ambulance service should meet modern requirements, and the in-call management and their execution should be implemented in a digital format. Having noticed that it is impossible to determine the patient’s location when calling an ambulance by the number 03, the head of state suggested trying out the numbers 112 or 911 used in the world practice. In particular, when calling 112, the relevant service can determine the location of the person required help, and the medical institution can access the patient’s medical record when he is hospitalized.
