Russia-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission Meeting Will Be Held in October
The meeting of the Russia-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation will be held in Ashgabat in mid-October, Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin reported.
"Considering the intensity of bilateral relations, it is especially important today to preserve and maintain the positive momentum that has been achieved. This will also be facilitated by the next meeting of the Russia-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, scheduled to take place in Ashgabat in mid-October this year," Volynkin wrote in a congratulatory message on the occasion of Turkmenistan’s Independence Day, the text of which was published by the embassy’s press service.
Volynkin emphasized that this year there has been active delegation exchange between the countries, and mutual understanding has been reached on a wide range of issues, which demonstrates Moscow’s and Ashgabat’s common approaches to key points on the international agenda.
