On September 24, the State Veterinary Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of Turkmenistan received a set of modern equipment for a training classroom. The delivery took place within the framework of the BOMCA 10 program, financed by the European Union. This step is aimed at improving border veterinary control and enhancing the qualifications of specialists.

At the handover ceremony, Program Manager of the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, Borislav Dimitrov, emphasized the strategic importance of this initiative for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU. The BOMCA program coordinator also noted that the provided equipment would contribute to the development and modernization of the country’s veterinary service.

Head of the Department of International and Scientific Relations of the State Veterinary Service, Arslan Soltanmyradov, expressed gratitude to the representatives of BOMCA and the EU Delegation for their technical support. He stressed:“Today’s handover not only strengthens the technical potential of the service but also opens up new opportunities for education and professional growth of specialists. We are confident that the received equipment will significantly improve the quality of training for our staff.”

Equipping the training classroom will allow improvement of the veterinary training process, create conditions for practical lessons using the latest technologies, and enhance the skills of specialists. In the long run, this will help increase the efficiency of the veterinary service as a whole, ensuring reliable protection of livestock and public health.
