Young Turkmen artists were invited to participate in the International Children’s Painting Festival in Iran
Young Turkmen painters will take part in the International Children’s Painting Festival “From Home to the Galaxy” to be held in the Iranian city of Kerman.
As ORIENT was informed at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan, the International Children’s Painting Festival will be held in a virtual manner by the Kerman City Municipality in cooperation with national and international organizations, in particular the regional offices of UNESCO and UNICEF in Iran.
Children from 5 to 15 years of age can register on the official website of the festival and submit their works. The site operates in two languages - Farsi and English.
The submitted works must be performed by children on paper or cardboard with dimensions of at least 12.7 x 17.7 cm and max 40 x 30 cm.
Digital technology-aided artworks will not be accepted. Each participant can submit only one work.
Works are accepted until April 30, 2021, and the finalists of the festival will be announced in May-June.
