In September 2025, independent international experts conducted a final analysis of the "Single Window for Export-Import Operations" project, which was implemented by the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan with support from the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.

The "Single Window" system was recognized as a significant tool for accelerating foreign economic relations and simplifying interaction between government agencies and the business community. Experts confirmed that the system's objectives align with Turkmenistan's process of joining the World Trade Organization.

The implementation of the digital platform fostered interdepartmental cooperation and created opportunities for transitioning to electronic formats of public administration.

To date, 19 ministries and 24 sectoral administrative departments are connected to the system. This has reduced the time required for processing procedures, lowered costs and increased the transparency of services.

According to digital records, the system processed about 100,000 permits in 2024. In the first eight months of 2025, approximately 120,000 documents were processed electronically.
