At the beginning of the week, the weather in Turkmenistan was influenced by the formation of an anticyclone and its southeastern periphery. On Monday, light rains fell in some areas of Balkan velayat, and thunderstorms were observed in certain regions.

Today, Tuesday, nighttime temperatures in the Dashoguz region ranged from +10…+15°, while in other velayats it stayed within +12…+17°, reaching up to +19° in some places. During the day, the temperature across the country is expected to be +23…+28°, with Ashgabat warming up to +25…+27°.

On Wednesday night, temperatures will range from +11…+16° in the north, to +14…+19° in the central and southern regions. As the anticyclone moves eastward and a low-pressure area forms, warmer air masses from the south will begin to flow in.

During the day, temperatures will rise to +26…+31°, while in the western part of the country it will be cooler — +20…+25°. On Thursday and Friday, the weather pattern will not change significantly. The prevailing daytime temperature will remain at +26…+31°, while nights will stay moderately cool, the meteorological journal writes.
