UN has launched the Only Together global campaign

This week, the UN has launched a new Only Together global campaign, aimed at ensuring fair and equitable access to vaccines against COVID-19 throughout the world. “The virus has killed over 2.5 million people. Millions of people who had this disease are suffering from exhausting long-lasting health effects”, the UN Secretary General’s message on launching the campaign says. The UN expressed the hope that vaccines against COVID-19 will help prevent loss of lives, the spread of new types of the disease, restore the economy, and ultimately end the pandemic. “There is only one way for our world to cope with this virus: by acting together”, the UN reminds, launching the #OnlyTogether campaign.
