Turkmenistan and Cuba Discuss Cooperation on the Margins of UN General Assembly
On September 22, on the sidelines of the anniversary session of the UN General Assembly, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov met with Cuba’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
During the talks, the current state of Turkmen-Cuban relations in political-diplomatic, economic, and humanitarian spheres was discussed.
The parties also reviewed cooperation within international organizations and emphasized the need to strengthen engagement between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
Special attention was given to prospects for partnership in healthcare, agriculture, sports, tourism, and other sectors.
The diplomats confirmed their intention to continue active collaboration aimed at further developing bilateral relations.
