Turkmenistan Increased Import Volume from Uzbekistan

According to data from the State Committee of Statistics of Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan increased the volume of imports from the neighboring country by 17.9 million US dollars in January–August 2025 compared to the same period last year.
The total volume of mutual trade between the two states during the reporting period amounted to 677.8 million dollars. At the same time, Turkmenistan’s exports to Uzbekistan reached 581.6 million dollars.
The value of goods and services imported from Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan amounted to 96.2 million dollars, compared to 78.3 million dollars a year earlier.
