C5 + 1 forum to take place in Tashkent: Central Asian countries - USA

The next meeting of the format of the cooperation of the "Central Asian countries - the USA" (C5 + 1) will be held on July 23, on Monday in Tashkent, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said. Representatives of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and the United States will discuss topical issues of regional security, fighting terrorism and countering extremism. In September 2015, the United States and five Central Asian countries - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan - established a new format of interaction - C5 + 1 - to discuss regional issues.
