Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan met with Emir of Qatar in Doha
On September 15, in Doha, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov was received by Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Head of State of Qatar conveyed greetings to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed deep gratitude for the support provided by the leadership of Turkmenistan to his country and people during this difficult period.
He also emphasized the high level of fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, and noted good prospects for the further development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Qatar in a wide range of areas, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan reports.
The importance of interaction between the two states in the international political arena within the framework of the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other authoritative international organizations was especially emphasized.
