Turkmenistan and RSA will hold political consultations and prepare bilateral documents


The Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and the Republic of South Africa agreed to exchange visits and prepare bilateral documents for signing.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov made an agreement with the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa Naledi Pandor during a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
The diplomats expressed their opinion on the need to develop interstate cooperation in the trade and economic sphere as well as in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.
Special attention is paid to the expansion of diplomatic contacts. With this objective in view, it is planned to hold political consultations of the parties in the near future and strengthen cooperation at the level of ambassadors and permanent representatives of the two states to the UN.
