The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan discussed further cooperation with the head of the ILO

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov discussed cooperation issues with the Director General of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Guy Ryder. During the video meeting, the interlocutors considered the pandemic impact on global socio-economic processes and opportunities for developing cooperation in regional and international formats. In this context, there were announced Turkmenistan’s actions at the national level, including a Plan of operational socio-economic measures in the country to counter the coronavirus pandemic. The issues of Turkmenistan’s accession to a number of ILO Conventions were also considered.
