Achievements in Science and Education Celebrated at TSU
On August 10, a solemn event titled “Science – the Basis of Our Country’s Peaceful Policy” was held at Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly. The celebration was dedicated to the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence, the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as to the country’s achievements in the field of science and education.
During the event, the university’s high results in the National Ranking of Higher Education Institutions of Turkmenistan were highlighted. For their accomplishments, Certificates of Honor from the Minister of Education were awarded to:
• Faculty of Mathematics
• Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics
• Department of Mathematical Analysis
• N. Gurbanmammedov – Head of Department, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
• A. Amanmadova – Lecturer, Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics
• M. Ashyraliyeva – Senior Lecturer, Department of Applied Mathematics and Informatics.
In addition, student S.Saryev, who won first place in the “Student of the Year–2025” competition, was awarded a Certificate of Honor. Membership certificates of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan were also presented to lecturers and students of the Faculty of Law.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a festive concert was performed by the ensemble “Bagtyýarlyk Owazlary”, and an exhibition was opened showcasing the creative works of the National Leader of the Turkmen People Hero-Arkadag, the Esteemed President, as well as projects prepared by students.
