ChatGPT's "Projects" feature is now free for all users

OpenAI has made the "Projects" feature in ChatGPT accessible to everyone at no cost. This allows all users to organize their conversations with the AI by topic, save context, and manage files in a single location.

This feature helps streamline workflows by keeping all chats and instructions within one section, which helps the AI stay focused on a given topic. Users can also switch between devices with ease, continuing their work on a project in either a browser or the mobile app for Android. The iOS version will be available soon.

Although the feature is now free for all, paying subscribers still have an advantage: they can upload between 25 to 40 files, whereas free users are limited to 5 files.
