Delegation of Turkmenistan to take part in ethno festival of Turkic nations in Hungary
The Turkmen delegation will take part in the Kurultaj (celebration of the preservation of the ancient traditions of the Turkic nations), which will be held from 8 to 15 August in the city of Budapest and Bugac village, Hungary. The delegation includes cultural workers, employees of the State Museum of Turkmenistan, the State Association “Turkmen Atlary” and creative-artistic groups. The ethno festival will gather representatives of various countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Kirghizia, Russia, Moldova and Bulgaria. The founders of Kurultaj are the Hungarian Turan Fund and its affiliate the Turanian Union. The main goal of the event is to unite representatives of the Turkic world who treasure the traditional and cultural heritage of each nation. The celebration program of the Kurultaj includes theatrical show programs, musical performances, archaeological and anthropological exhibitions, handicraft fair and other various cultural events.
