Humanitarian aid for children and residents of Afghanistan affected by the recent earthquake was sent from the International Airport of the capital of Turkmenistan. The aid was sent in accordance with the Order of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the expense of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.

A special flight carried out by a cargo plane of Turkmenistan Airlines delivered textiles, food, clothing and other essential products to Kabul on Friday.

In Afghanistan, the humanitarian aid was received in a warm atmosphere. The participants of the ceremony expressed sincere gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for their constant assistance and support. As noted, this act of good neighborliness and solidarity takes relations between the two countries to a qualitatively new level, strengthening the centuries-old bonds of friendship and mutual understanding.
