The textbook "History of General Art" has been published
Recently, a textbook titled "History of General Art" (authors: B. Mammedov, A. Gubaeva, G. Jumayeva – Ashgabat: Ylym Publishing House, 2025) was published for higher educational institutions specializing in "Architecture", "Architectural Environment Design", and "Urban Planning and Settlement Development".
The textbook explores various types of art that have developed throughout historical evolution. These art forms differ in their artistic objects, content, visual techniques, means of expression, and degree of impact. The unique features of each are reflected in their distinctive modes of artistic expression and their ability to convey the aesthetic dimensions of different aspects of life.
In the preparation of this textbook, collections of decrees by the President and Government of Turkmenistan, information materials from the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, and publications from national media were used. Special attention is given to the guiding books by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, and the President of Turkmenistan. In addition, works by foreign scholars that bring art closer to science in their pursuit of understanding the world were also referenced.
