The Concept of Development of the Labor Market of Turkmenistan until 2030 has been approved
The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution approving the "Concept of Development of the Labor Market of Turkmenistan until 2030" and the corresponding Action Plan. This document is a strategic step aimed at qualitatively improving the lives of citizens and strengthening the country's economic potential.
The focus of the new Concept is the creation of a flexible and modern labor market that can meet the challenges of the time. To achieve this goal, the following is planned:
Digitalization of services. The range of online services in the field of employment will be expanded. This will make job search and interaction with state employment services more convenient and accessible.
Improvement of legislation. The regulatory framework will be brought into line with generally accepted norms of international law, which will make the labor market more transparent and attractive for foreign investors and partners.
International cooperation. Turkmenistan plans to intensify interaction with the International Labor Organization (ILO) and consider the possibility of joining its key conventions. This will allow adopting the best world experience and implementing advanced standards in the field of labor relations.
Special attention will be paid to updating labor market analysis methods so that the state has up-to-date data on the needs of the economy and can effectively plan personnel training.
