President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the leadership of Malaysia
Head of the Turkmen state Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations to Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, the 17th Supreme Head Sultan Ibrahim bin Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and all the people of the country on the occasion of the National Day.
The President emphasized that Turkmenistan highly values the friendly relations with Malaysia, which are consistently strengthened and enriched with new content.
It is emphasized that Ashgabat and Kuala Lumpur are building a partnership on a mutually beneficial basis, paying attention to the development of contacts between people, including in the field of education and science. The President expressed confidence that further expansion of cooperation will serve the interests of the peoples of the two countries.

Malaysia is a promising partner for Turkmenistan in the trade, economic, energy and educational spheres. The fuel and energy sector occupies a special place in the relations between the two countries - the participation of Petronas in projects for the extraction of hydrocarbon resources in Turkmenistan, the development of oil and gas fields in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, the implementation of joint projects in the field of modern technologies, etc.
