Industry, construction and trade of Turkmenistan in positive dynamics
Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov (construction and industrial complex) and Nokerguly Atagulyev (trade, textile and business sector) presented reports on the results of the activities of the complexes they supervise for the past eight months of 2025. The data indicate positive dynamics in all key sectors.
Construction and industry:
In the construction and industrial complex, the overall plan for production and work performed was exceeded by 7.1%.
• The Ministry of Construction and Architecture: exceeded the plan by 14.1%.
• Ashgabat City Hall: showed an impressive growth of 17.6%.
• The State Agency for Management of Road Construction: fulfilled the plan by 14%.
• Ministry of Industry and Construction: +7.8%
• Ministry of Energy: +10.2%
• State Concern "Turkmenchemistry": +3.1%
Trade and textiles:
The growth of trade turnover in the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was 17.7%.
• The Ministry of Textile Industry: increased production volumes by 4.2%.
• Cotton yarn production increased by 16.6%.
• Cotton fabric production increased by 22.7%.
• Leather production increased by 16%.
• The Turkmen Carpet State Association fulfilled its production plan by 100.2%.
After hearing the reports, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the deputy prime ministers to take measures to bring enterprises to full capacity, improve the supply of products to markets, and increase export volumes. The head of state also emphasized the importance of establishing modern production facilities and creating new jobs.
