Rashid Meredov and Sergey Lavrov to hold talks in Moscow
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov will hold talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on August 28 as part of a working visit to Moscow.
Topical issues of the bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian agendas will be discussed, and opinions will be exchanged on international and regional issues, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Lavrov arrived in Ashgabat on an official visit two months ago, in June 2025.
This week, the heads of the Foreign Ministries of Turkmenistan and Russia held a telephone conversation.
