Huawei has released two new MatePad tablets, the MatePad 11.5 S 2025 and the MatePad Air 12-inch 2025. Both models run on the HarmonyOS 5 operating system, and their main feature is a unique matte screen that mimics the feeling of writing on paper.

The MatePad 11.5 S 2025 has an 11.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800x1840 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. Its 8800 mAh battery supports 40 W fast charging.

The larger model, the MatePad Air 12-inch 2025, has a 12-inch screen with the same specifications, a larger 10100 mAh battery, and 66 W fast charging.

Both versions are available with a matte screen that uses a new nanotextured glass. This technology not only creates a paper-like effect but also effectively protects against glare, reflections, and fingerprints, blocking up to 99% of stray light.
