Trans-Caspian International Transport Route — Strategic Focus of TIF-2025 Forum
Within the framework of the Turkmenistan International Investment Forum TIF-2025, which will take place on September 18–19, 2025, special attention will be given to the development and expansion of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) — one of the key logistics corridors connecting Central Asia with Europe.
The TITR is a multimodal route that integrates rail, maritime, and road transportation across the Caspian Sea, providing efficient and rapid connectivity between Asia and Europe. Turkmenistan plays a central role in this route, actively developing port facilities in Turkmenbashi and enhancing infrastructure while eliminating regulatory and procedural barriers in trade to increase its transit potential.
At the TIF-2025 Forum, representatives of government bodies, international financial institutions and organizations, as well as the private sector, will discuss opportunities for investment and cooperation within the TITR framework, including projects on modernization of transport infrastructure, introduction of digital technologies in logistics, and the development of sustainable supply chains.
The development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route contributes to strengthening business ties and trust, deepening regional integration, stimulating economic growth, and opening new opportunities for international investors.
