The joint statement adopted following the meeting of the leaders of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in Avaza on August 22 became a roadmap for deepening strategic cooperation between the three countries. The document covers a wide range of areas - from economics and transport to culture and ecology. Particular attention is paid to the creation of a transit corridor, which is intended to become a key link in regional and global trade.

In addition to traditional areas such as politics and culture, the statement highlights specific and ambitious goals:

Transport and logistics. An important point was the decision to intensify multimodal transportation along the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan route. This effectively means the creation of a new international transit corridor that will connect Central Asia with the Caspian Sea and further on with Europe. A special working group will be created to coordinate this work.

Economic cooperation. The parties agreed to expand trade and economic ties and create joint ventures in various industries, including textile, chemical and construction industries. This is aimed at increasing investment attractiveness and developing regional production cooperation.

Energy and ecology. The document also emphasizes the special importance of interaction in the energy sector and joint efforts to combat climate change, preserve biodiversity and promote common environmental programs.

Cultural and humanitarian ties. The commitment to strengthening friendship between peoples through intensifying contacts between educational, scientific and cultural institutions, as well as the media, was confirmed.

Thus, the joint statement became not just a formal document, but a specific action plan aimed at creating a new economic and transport space in Central Asia.
