Honor reportedly developing the compact Magic8 Mini smartphone
Based on insider information, Honor is reportedly preparing to release a new compact smartphone, the Magic8 Mini. This device will join the flagship Honor Magic8 series but will feature a smaller form factor. Despite its size, the smartphone is expected to be equipped with a very powerful battery.
The device will feature a 6.3-inch screen, positioning it as a direct competitor to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro. Compared to flagship models from both Apple and Samsung, the Magic8 Mini is rumored to have a more powerful battery in a very thin body. It is also known that the phone will be powered by a Dimensity 9500 processor, while the larger Honor Magic8 and Magic8 Pro models will likely use a Snapdragon chip.
The Honor Magic8 Mini is expected to be released in the first half of 2026, coinciding with the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S26 smartphone lineup.
