Dubai police have successfully prevented the theft of a rare pink diamond weighing 21.25 carats and valued at $25 million. The news was reported by Mir 24, citing the Emirati news agency WAM.

Law enforcement arrested a gang that had been planning the heist of the unique stone for over a year.

According to experts, the diamond has been certified by a leading gemological institute and possesses exceptional clarity. The probability of finding another diamond of the same 21.25-carat weight is just 0.01%, making it incredibly rare.
