Turkmenistan is participating in the Second Meeting of the Working Group on Civil Aviation Cooperation between Central Asian countries and China, which is being held in Astana. Representatives from aviation agencies, airlines, and airports of Turkmenistan, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan are all in attendance.

Key Discussion Points and Chinese Proposals

The conference is focused on several key areas, including:

Expanding air traffic

Improving the quality of passenger and cargo transportation

Modernizing airports

Strengthening flight safety

China has presented five key proposals to enhance cooperation. These include simplifying customs procedures, reducing the cost of aviation fuel, and developing technical exchanges.
