The first record, officially confirmed by the Guinness Book of Records website in February 2021, was the longest animated show performed by unmanned aerial vehicles. The idea of the project belonged to the EFYI group, whose representatives according to a message on the Twitter of the chinadaily.com site inspired by the “Living Van Gogh” exhibition organized in Sydney, which became the first event for Australia accessible to the audience after the detection of coronavirus cases on its territory. According to the operating director of the company, he and his colleagues were amazed by the creation of the Dutch master and decided to recreate a unique “Starry Night” with the help of drones. The company’s specialists were assisted by volunteers from among the students of the University of Tianjin. On New Year’s Eve, with the help of 600 drones, there was set a unique world record – the longest animation with the help of drones. Within the framework of the show, which lasted 26 minutes and 19 seconds, “Starry Night”, “Self-portrait” and 10 more masterpieces of the artist were recreated. The successful demonstration was the result of the painstaking work of the entire team, because even during the dress rehearsal, some images flew over others. As a motto of the performance, the organizers chose the phrase: “Animation is the best way to tell a story exactly as the viewer sees it”. Turkmenistan also holds competitions in the robotics. The next such-like event is scheduled for the second half of March.
