The designer from Turkmenistan became a member of the jury panel of the International photo contest
The international contest « Mother and children in national costumes» invites by means of photos to transfer originality of culture of the people where the image of a family becomes the main component. As the organizer of photo contest «International Union of Women» acts, and all interested persons from the countries of abroad, Russia and the CIS can take part in it.
The photo contest jury panel included the designer, a member of the Union of architects of Turkmenistan Sheker Akiniyazova. After successful fashion show in which earlier it was informed in publications of ORIENT, the name of the designer became known far outside of her native land. Therefore organizers of the International photo contest have chosen Sheker, as expert in the field of ethno-style.
In all works of Sheker Akiniyazova the special attention is given to Turkmen embroidery as it is in it she finds a source of inspiration for creativity. She actively is engaged in volunteer activity and supports young designers in professional development.
To take part in the photo contest « Mother and children in national costumes» on behalf of Turkmenistan, it is necessary to fill in application form on the site of the project or to send the photo works to the e-mail of Sheker Akiniyazova asheker@mail.ru .
- Foreign public simply is a great admirer of Turkmen colours, - speaks the designer. - Therefore it is necessary to participate to show to the whole world our traditions and national dresses. I am sure that they will win general applause again. To send photos it is possible for me by mail and if there will be additional questions, I with pleasure will answer them.
Till August 25, 2021 each interested person can give one photo for the contest. Finalists and winners will be announced on September 15, and their pictures will be included into the total catalogue of the International contest «Mums and children in national costumes», prepared in English and Russian languages. Winners will be invited to Moscow to the exhibition of the best works where there will pass a solemn ceremony of awarding of winners.
The contest’s main objective is assistance in preservation and development of ethnic cultures of the people in the conditions of growing globalisation and also strengthening of family values.
