Elon Musk has announced the launch of a new feature for his AI assistant, Grok: a video generator called Imagine. According to the billionaire, this technology allows users to create videos from a text description and is essentially a new, more advanced AI-powered version of the Vine platform.
A key advantage of Grok Imagine is its high generation speed. Musk stated that the tool creates a video in only a quarter to half the time it takes its main competitors to create a single image. Furthermore, Grok can turn a finished image into a video with sound in less than 30 seconds.
The billionaire noted that while this is an early beta version, creating images and videos with it has already become "the most entertaining activity on Earth." X users also highly praised Imagine's potential, predicting that this technology will "change the world of entertainment consumption."
