Air traffic via Turkmenbashy International Airport to resume in August

As of August 11, 2025, the Turkmenbashi International Airport will resume operations, welcoming passengers once again. According to the updated domestic flight schedule from “Turkmenistan” Airlines, service will initially be reestablished for flights on the Ashgabat – Turkmenbashi and Turkmenbashi – Ashgabat routes.
Flights will operate daily until September 1.
The Balkanabat airport will continue to function concurrently with the Turkmenbashi International Airport, servicing flights from other regions of Turkmenistan.
