Since the beginning of 2025, divisions of the Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş Trust under the state concern Turkmennebit have produced approximately 81,830 tons of additional oil through major repairs of wells at the Goturdepe, Barsagelmez, and Gamyshlyja fields.

According to the trust, this output represents 141% of the planned target for the first half of the year. The Gamishlyja Well Repair Department made a significant contribution by producing more than 24,000 tons of oil above its assigned quota. In this department, 32 wells were repaired, of which 24 were returned to operation.

Overall, 217 wells were overhauled during the reporting period, exceeding the planned 199, the company reported. The work was carried out using equipment from the trust’s automotive and specialized technical departments.

Türkmennebit notes that restoring low-yield and idle wells is an effective measure for increasing hydrocarbon production in the country. The Balkan region remains a key oil-producing area in Turkmenistan.
