Gokdepe Leather Factory Increases Production of Environmentally Friendly Leather
Gokdepe Leather Factory, one of Turkmenistan’s leading producers of environmentally friendly and high-quality leather, reported growth in production results for the first half of 2025. Over six months, the factory produced goods worth 9 million 793 thousand 413 manats, exceeding the same period last year by 591 thousand 822 manats. This represents a growth of 106.43%.
The factory is equipped with modern technological equipment that enables efficient organization of the production process and increased output of high-quality products. At the current stage of development, the factory processes raw materials such as hides of large and small cattle in accordance with environmental standards.
The enterprise manufactures leather in various colors and sizes, intended for the production of bags, shoes, belts, winter clothing, and other products. Demand for the products continues to grow steadily, including orders from private sector representatives.
The increase in production results has been made possible by the coordinated efforts of specialists and the rational use of equipment. The factory’s team actively implements innovations and aims to expand its export potential.
At the international exhibition-fair “Türkmentextile Expo — 2025” held in Ashgabat, the factory presented new products made from environmentally friendly leather for the first time, which attracted interest from participants.
Currently, the enterprise continues to work on increasing its production capacity.
