1) Participation of the delegation of Turkmenistan in the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which will be held in Samarkand this autumn;

Among the areas are Turkmenistan's participation in the Intergovernmental Committee for Physical Culture and Sport, the Oceanographic Commission, the Hydrological Program, the Man and the Biosphere, Memory of the World programs, as well as the international university network UNITWIN.

UNESCO departments have been opened in two universities in the country, and six UNESCO clubs are operating. Six secondary schools are included in the UNESCO Associated Schools Network, and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly has joined the Global Youth Community of this organization. Ashgabat is included in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
