Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang lauded China's advancements in artificial intelligence, characterizing them as a "catalyst for global progress" and underscoring their pivotal role in "revolutionizing" logistics chains. He made these remarks during his address at the International Supply Chain Forum in Beijing.

According to Huang, Chinese AI models represent "high-end technologies," and China itself is a vital market with "dynamic" customers. He noted that the development of AI in China contributes significantly to global technological shifts and creates new opportunities across various industries.

Amidst these statements, Nvidia confirmed its intention to resume shipments of its H20 chips to China. This decision follows a partial easing of U.S. restrictions on the export of high-tech components to the People's Republic of China. These chips were specifically developed to comply with the revised export regulations, and the company now plans to re-energize its operations within the Chinese market.

Concurrently, reports from Washington indicate that the United States and Indonesia have reached an agreement concerning a new 19% tariff rate, which may impact bilateral trade between the two nations.
