3,200+ Turkmen Citizens Have Received E-Visas to the Russian Federation in Six Months
More and more citizens of Turkmenistan are taking advantage of the convenience of electronic visas for trips to the Russian Federation. On July 17, Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin told Izvestia about a significant increase in the number of documents issued.
"During the first half of this year, 3.2 thousand electronic visas were issued to citizens of Turkmenistan, and 2.4 thousand people have already used them to enter Russia," Ambassador Volynkin said.
An electronic visa is a modern solution that allows you to stay in Russia for up to 16 days. It is ideal for various purposes: tourism, business trips, humanitarian missions or guest visits. The process of obtaining it is as simple as possible: the visa is issued on a special online portal of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and paid for by bank card.
The opportunity to obtain an electronic visa has become available to citizens of Turkmenistan since 2024, and its popularity continues to grow.
