US Secretary of State Rubio to meet Lavrov

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is set to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The meeting will take place on July 10 on the sidelines of ASEAN events in Malaysia, as reported by RBC.

Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, confirmed this information to RBC, stating, "Such a meeting is being worked on."

Prior to this, Rubio and Lavrov had several telephone conversations. Their first in-person meeting occurred during the Russia-US talks in Riyadh in February.
