Students and Schoolchildren from Turkmenistan Took Part in the All-Russian Forum "Chehov Cup" in Taganrog
Students and high schoolers from Turkmenistan participated in the 23rd All-Russian Forum "Chehov Cup," which was held in Taganrog. The forum brought together 124 students from different countries around the world, providing a platform for developing public speaking, argumentation, and debate skills.
The event was hosted by the Institute of Management of the Southern Federal University, with support from the organizations “Global–NPD” and the IT company “Logovo,” as well as the Taganrog Territorial Election Commission.
Participants included students from China, the Central African Republic, Russia, Colombia, and Nigeria. They competed in debates in various formats, including the Karl Popper format, the World Schools Debating format, and the British Parliamentary format. Debates were conducted in Russian, English, and Chinese. An oratory tournament was also held as part of the forum.
The teams from Turkmenistan actively participated in the program, attending master classes, debate sessions, and the cultural program. One of the key events was a visit to the Sambeck Heights memorial complex.
The forum concluded with a formal awards ceremony for the winners and participants.
