Dyson, a company renowned for its engineering solutions, has surprised the world by unveiling a large-scale, high-tech farm for year-round strawberry cultivation. This innovative facility is situated in a 26-acre glasshouse near Lincolnshire in eastern England. It features a colossal rotating wheel system housing over a million strawberry plants, providing uniform access to light and air. This unique setup enables the farm to produce up to 1,250 tons of strawberries annually.

This system represents the pinnacle of agrotechnology, with all processes fully automated. Sensors meticulously monitor temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, and water supply. Robots equipped with cameras and manipulators carefully harvest ripe berries. Sunlight is supplemented by LED and UV lamps, and pest control eschews chemical treatments in favor of biological methods, utilizing specialized insects distributed by automated mechanisms.

The farm's energy independence is secured by its own bioenergy complex, which converts agricultural waste into electricity and heat. The carbon dioxide produced is then recycled back into the greenhouse to accelerate plant growth. This makes the farm highly efficient and environmentally friendly, minimizing land usage and enabling crop cultivation regardless of climate conditions.

Dyson is championing the concept of urban farming, which reduces transportation costs and emissions. This project exemplifies how technology can revolutionize agriculture, making it high-precision, sustainable, and independent of natural environmental factors.
