Russian-Turkmen Concert "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood" to Be Held in Moscow
On August 15, 2025, the Rachmaninov Hall of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory will host a Russian-Turkmen concert titled “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood.” The event is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
This cultural event is part of the 19th International Music Festival “Gathering Friends,” which brings together talents and musical traditions from various countries. The concert is organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation, the “Sounds of Dutar” Foundation, and the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory.
The concert is inspired by the book “Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood” by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which explores the vocal and instrumental heritage of the Turkmen nation.
Renowned Turkmen academic and folk musicians, whose performances have been recognized internationally, will arrive in Moscow for the event. In addition to the concert, art and book exhibitions will be held, showcasing the richness of Turkmenistan’s cultural and artistic legacy.
The concert will take place on August 15 at the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.
