Turkmenistan Culture Week to be held in Balkan velayat in 2026

The President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution on holding Culture Week in Balkan velayat from June 22 to 27, 2026. This decision aims to significantly enhance the national cultural sphere and enrich Turkmen culture, art, and literature with new works, as reported by TDH.
Traditionally timed to coincide with the Day of Workers of Culture and Art, and the poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy, Culture Week seeks to elevate the professionalism of creative figures, stimulate the creation of new works, and improve the operations of mass media.
According to the document, an organizing committee has been established and approved to organize and conduct Culture Week.
