President of Turkmenistan Discusses Industrial Partnership with Toyo Engineering CEO
On June 29, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Japanese corporation Toyo Engineering, Horuo Nagamatsu, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit.
The businessman congratulated the head of state on the second anniversary of the opening of the city of Arkadag and noted the beauty of the white marble Ashgabat. In turn, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that this visit would give new impetus to bilateral partnership.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that relations between Turkmenistan and Japan are strategic in nature and are consistently developing in the political, economic and cultural spheres. The significant contribution of Japanese companies, including Toyo Engineering, to the development of the country's economic potential, especially in the oil and gas and chemical industries, was noted.
The head of state expressed readiness to expand cooperation and consider specific proposals from the corporation in new areas.
