Turkmenistan ranks among top 10 suppliers to Uzbekistan's market

From January to May 2025, Turkmenistan exported goods valued at approximately USD 235 million to Uzbekistan, securing its position among the top ten largest supplier countries to the Uzbek market.
This information was reported by the Agency of Statistics under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
Conversely, during the first five months of the year, Uzbekistan's exports to Turkmenistan reached USD 50 million, marking an increase of USD 2 million compared to the same period in 2024.
Overall, the total volume of mutual trade between the two countries from January to May of the current year amounted to USD 283.3 million. This figure places Turkmenistan as Uzbekistan's 14th largest foreign trade partner.
