Turkmenistan and Qatar explore economic and investment collaboration at QFZ meeting
On June 19, 2025, the Head of the Qatar Free Zone (QFZ) Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Thani met with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the State of Qatar M. Seyitmamedov.
During the meeting, the Turkmen side noted the importance of declaring 2025 in our country as the "Year of International Peace and Trust" and noted the international events organized in honor of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of our beloved country.
During the meeting, the Head of the Qatar Free Zone (QFZ) Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Thani noted that the Ras Bufontas Free Zone, located near Hamad International Airport, is a specialized zone where business is organized using high-tech digital channels, and Qatar's QFZ is one of the important centers that fully meets the requirements of modern international economic platforms, provides favorable conditions for business and stimulates innovative development.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed current issues related to the intensification of cooperation between the two countries in the economic and investment spheres, and the exchange of experience between the relevant industries.
