Ambassador of Japan to Turkmenistan visits International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev
On June 17, a meeting was held at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University with His Excellency Mr. Hiroshi Sasaki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Turkmenistan.
The central event of the visit was the ceremonial presentation to the university of dozens of informational books in English from the Nippon Foundation. These publications introduce readers to Japanese economics, culture, and literature, and are now accessible to students and faculty in the university library and reading room. The Rector of the university expressed gratitude for the donated books, noting their significance in broadening students' horizons.
During his visit, Ambassador Hiroshi Sasaki also toured the library, reading rooms, the Geology Museum, and the DRILL SIM-5000 training laboratory for drilling. He conveyed his appreciation for the opportunity to visit the university and gain a detailed understanding of its infrastructure.
