Turkmenistan increased fuel oil export

Source:

Last year Turkmenistan exported 795,500 tons of fuel oil, which is the most common type of oil residue, used as fuel for boiler plants and sea vessels as well as for further processing. Compared to 2016, its exports increased by 39.6%. At the same time, the production of fuel oil at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries (TKNPZ) reached 699,000 tons last year, an increase of 20.2%. Thus, a large share of exports accounted for unrealized balances of this fuel, which decreased by 76.3% and amounted to 25.8 thousand tons. Taking into account the fact that oil residues can be used for further purification, TKNPZ actively increases the depth of processing of raw materials, modernizing and erecting new technological installations, which Orient mentioned earlier here and here . Thus, simple fuel oil, the production of which is increasing in Turkmenistan every year, will soon become a raw material for the manufacture of various types of petroleum products with high added value.
