Cultural celebration in Ankara: Peace, Trust, and Neutrality of Turkmenistan
On May 28, 2025, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Türkiye hosted a significant cultural event at the Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts. The event commemorated two important occasions: the proclamation of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust and the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
The celebratory program included a concert featuring talented Turkmen students who presented a vibrant cultural performance. Attendees enjoyed renditions of national songs, instrumental music, and energetic folk dances, all demonstrating Turkmenistan's rich cultural heritage.
In addition to the concert, guests had the opportunity to visit an exhibition of Turkmen folk art. The exhibition displayed a diverse array of carpet products, exquisite national jewelry, traditional musical instruments, and unique examples of applied art, offering deeper insight into the craftsmanship of Turkmen artisans.
The event concluded in accordance with a cherished Turkmen tradition: all invited guests were treated to dishes from national Turkmen cuisine, a delightful addition to the celebration that fostered an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality.
